How It Works
Revelstoke’s single integration with the Sevco Asset Intelligence Platform provides a focused, secure solution for endpoint asset management. This integration enhances Revelstoke’s capabilities by allowing for the retrieval of endpoint data, such as user and device information, from a centralized, access controlled Sevco environment.
This singular integration with Sevco is specialized in fetching endpoint asset information. While the Sevco platform can aggregate various types of asset data, its integration with Revelstoke is currently limited to endpoint data retrieval. This targeted approach enriches Revelstoke’s asset tracking and security orchestration capabilities, providing continuously updated endpoint information that aids in automation and response tasks.
Requirements
The Sevco API key is your gateway to integrating with Sevco’s services. The API key can be easily generated and managed from within your user Profile page, without the need for third-party software or complicated configurations. Here’s how to go about it:
Prerequisites
- Access to your Sevco user Profile page.
Generate a New API Key
1. Navigate to your user Profile page by selecting the ‘Profile’ link from the User menu, located at the bottom-left corner of the Sevco interface.
2. Once on the Profile page, click the button labeled “Issue a new API key.”
3. A dialog box will appear prompting you to enter a name for your new API key in the ‘Key Name’ field.
4. Click the ‘Create’ button to generate the API key, which will subsequently be displayed on the page.
Copy an Existing API Key
1. To copy an existing API key, go to the Profile page
2. Locate and click the ‘Copy Key’ button that corresponds to the API key you wish to duplicate.

Integration Walkthrough
To successfully integrate with the Sevco Security platform, ensure you have the following prerequisites:
- Access to your Sevco user Profile page.
- An existing API Key from Sevco.
In Sevco
Please refer to the prerequisites section above to ensure you have all the necessary requirements for a successful integration with Sevco.
In Revelstoke
1. In your Revelstoke account, navigate to the Integrations page.
2. Select Add Integration Instance.
3. Type in the Search bar Sevco
4. Hover over the returned search results and Sevco will display.
5. Select the Sevco Integration.
6. Using the new ‘Application’ setup in the previous steps.
- Required Fields:
- Check the enabled box
- Name
- Base URL
- API Token
7. Click Save.
8. After completing the configuration, the Revelstoke platform is fully integrated and ready for use.
How to Disable
To stop the Revelstoke project from creating triggers in Sevco, you will need to disable the Sevco integration in Revelstoke.
1. Navigate to the Integrations page.
2. Under the Sevco section click the Pencil icon.
3. Uncheck Enabled and then select Save.
How to Remove
1. In your Revelstoke account, navigate to the Integrations page.
2. Select the Trash icon.
Select Yes, delete to remove the Sevco instance from Revelstoke.
