Communication tools enable incident response teams to work more efficiently by using grouping mechanisms, like channels or rooms to gather experts in the same place; allowing them to work together without duplication of efforts. Modern communication tools also allow for collaboration with leadership and other organizational entities (e.g. Legal, HR, etc.) that typically wont have access to the SecOps tool set. When integrated with the Revelstoke Platform, communication tools can be used for approvals for invasive actions, automated creation of virtual shared investigative spaces and detailed incident audit logging and reporting.
